Background and Rationale:

Bukidnon, a province in the Philippines, is home to diverse Lumad communities, each with its unique culture, traditions, and craftsmanship. However, these communities often face socio-economic challenges and the risk of cultural erosion. LumadCraft Bukidnon is a social enterprise project that aims to empower Bukidnon's Lumad communities by preserving their cultural heritage, supporting their craftsmanship, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. By celebrating and promoting the Lumad culture, the project seeks to foster community pride, economic resilience, and cultural preservation.


Description of Product or Services:

LumadCraft Bukidnon will collaborate with Lumad artisans from various tribes in Bukidnon to showcase and market their traditional crafts, including beadwork, textiles, bamboo crafts, musical instruments, and jewelry. The project will establish a physical store and online presence to sell these products, providing artisans with a platform to showcase their creations. LumadCraft Bukidnon will also organize workshops, cultural festivals, and interactive events to promote cultural exchange and engage visitors with Lumad craftsmanship.
